Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. She debuted on the big screen in Sex Traffic by Channel 4, for which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award was presented to her for Best Actress. She speaks fluently French, German English, as well as Romanian. Her father was an actor, and her mother was a violinist. She also received several prizes for her performance in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. Her role as a character in Cristian Mungiu's Romanian art film, 4 luni 3 weeks si 2 zile (4 3 weeks, 4 months and two days) was awarded three weeks and a day. Palme d'Or Award at the Cannes Film Festival 2007 and two other awards, the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System as well as the FIPRESCI Prize. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her work. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in the BBC's five episode The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as also in the Romanian drama Boogie. She later was Irma's German Aunt in Fury that was released in 2014.
